I have been a Certified Personal Trainer via the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 2012. My major training philosophy is exercising with purpose – that my clients’ programs should be customized in a way that will better their lives. From our first meeting, to several months into your program and beyond, everything about your program is specially designed to fit your needs and goals.
I specialize in Functional Training – as in, helping my clients get fit according to their unique lifestyles. This includes everything from ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) to leisure activities. Core training is a big part of this and helps to make those activities easier, as well as to mitigate lower back pain. As someone who knows firsthand the challenges of living with scoliosis, you’ll find that I place a special focus on developing core and back strength, and can empathize with clients who may also experience postural deviations.
I also specialize in pre- and post-natal fitness – again, with a functional focus to help make life easier during your pregnancy and prepare your body for motherhood.
In addition, I am AFAA Group Exercise certified, SCW certified for aqua exercise, and licensed Booty Barre instructor.
